The core management team consists of a mix of entrepreneurs, corporate financiers, and operating executives who between them have a wealth of experience in developing, funding and managing businesses in CEE and other emerging markets. Where needed, project management teams are developed to focus on the specific requirements of the specific project and may include senior executives, top level political consultants, takeover specialists, legal advisors, communications and public relations advisors, and other expertise. Gary Ohlbaum | Chief Executive Officer

Gary has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur, advisor and investor. He serves as CEO of Nourican Trading Ltd., Gary has had extensive investment and advisory experience in CEE and other emerging markets in telecommunications, the food industry, construction, and real estate among others. He brings an unparalleled network of contacts at top levels in industry, banking and global government projects.

John S. Ippolito | Chief Operating Officer – Energy, Oil & Gas

John has over 38 years of senior and executive management and business development experience in the oil and gas sector. He has held leadership positions that include a number of large integrated energy service companies (Schlumberger IPM, Hunting Interlock, Baker Energy, Epic Energy Resources, and others), and has developed and managed several start-up companies as a founding principal in each (Private and Public).

Penelope A. “Penny” Marcel | Consultant - Energy, Oil and Gas

Ms. Marcel has over 20 years of oil and gas experience in the upstream, midstream and production sales. She has provided supervision and coordination of technical teams performing Engineering and Geophysical assessments of assets and reserves. She also supervised general production operations and logistics, cash management and accounting, business strategies, and interfacing with legal teams and investor relations. Ms. Marcel manages Nourican’s operations back-office and contract administration.
